Season over sameness

Why we bake
Morrow & Grain began with a borrowed oven, a stubborn sourdough starter, and the belief that a neighborhood deserves a good place to pause.

2018—
That means flour with character, butter worth tasting, coffee sourced with respect, and enough time for every ingredient to become its best self.
We shape each loaf by hand and bake in small batches throughout the morning. Some days sell out early. We think that's better than yesterday's bread pretending to be today's.
Our menu follows what is growing, ripening, and inspiring us right now.
We value skilled craft, patient fermentation, and the beauty of natural variation.
A warm welcome and a remembered name matter as much as a perfect croissant.
“Bread is our daily reminder that the simplest things can still feel extraordinary.”
